Kerbal Space Program 2

Kerbal Space Program 2

Why the KSP Space center in orbit is such an AWESOME bug!
When I saw the bug that put the KSP center in space, I was delighted! Let me explain. For this bug to be even possible, the KSP center must be coded as a mobile adjustable thing, not part of the planet map. There is a hint of this already, when KSP center is listed as a COLONY under the tracking station tab.
This bug means that probably the colony code is already in the game to a degree, and we will be able to make KSP center type colonies, with runways and VABs and lots of other things. We will be able to make them in orbit or on asteroids or on other planets (assuming a bit here). Maybe even space colonies will be subject to orbital physics and have giant engines.
So I disagree this is one of the worst bugs in the game! On the contrary, this is the best bug in the game, makes me happy I gave this game a thumbs up, and paid to support it's development.

I'm not so optimistic about that specific chain of implications, but nice thought...

Breaking news!

A man finds a bug which leads to surprise encounter with colony code. Live at Seattle is Nate Simpson. What do you have to say about this?

Yeah, totally nate Simpson here.
First of all i want to say, we're keeping the communication channels wide open, so all of you will totally know in what state the game is.
Second, we're totally communicate only in our heavily modguarded forums, because complaints about the state of the game makes me sad :(
Third, we're communicate not that much at all, because we're can't stop playing the game, because it is so great. Yeah, getting Kerbals out of the pod without spinning out, starting, landing, saving, loading, +150 parts to go to other star systems, no problem!
We even programmed the rockets to be as rigid as my boner!
Oh, and if we ever encounter a bug, we just use our cheat menu, that we don't provide to you because early access and fork you!
Please don't try to interpret bugs you find, that will actually make the work harder for us. Or use mods. Or meddle with the game files. Or play the game.
To all those who got the game, I wholeheartly want to thank you on behalf of our publisher for your money. They want me to tell you, there will be a season pass for the next 3 dlcs and we will give you the opportunity to buy it next week.
Definitley sooner then the first patch, that will come out in the next few weeks. The year has 52 weeks, so I thinks that can be also called few... dunno. I better go back and play fortnite again.
See ya.
Send Money!

Wrong already, sadly. Literally everything is movable, because the physics system keeps its origin near the current craft, adjusting it occasionally when it gets too far away. This keeps precision high. The current craft is at rest, and every other thing moves relative to it.

They just screwed up the code that fixes the KSC's position after an origin jump. That's why it'll keep jumping around if you try flying close to it. Nothing exciting here, sorry.

The Geo Tracker would roll over if you turned too sharply. It was clearly proof that Geo designed the car to be parkable on it's sides!! How cool!!

This is literally how you sound.

No need to be sorry, and if you are not excited, that's just too bad for you. I am. The origin of the bug is not important, and your analysis is probably close to correct. But the point is that KSC is a colony with its own location system, and it gives us a cool preview of what colonies will be like. And that is Awesome!
