The ground drops after runway and anything with enough speed will take to air. Then just have ejection system and few parachutes. It should work nicely
https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/63154-thrust-ksc-land-speed-challenge/
There are some good ones;
- MUST start and finish on the runway.
- MUST NOT at any point leave the runway surface.
- Your speed run MUST finish with your car fully intact: no jettisoning parts, no clamps.
But also something pretty restrictive;
- MUST use a liquid fuel rocket
Usage of all the parts found in vanilla game should be allowed IMO.
Does somebody find more rules to be added into consideration? What would you consider as a good rule?
Can we trust the results, is it better than comparing frame-by-frame values and estimating when wheels left the ground?
