Your opinion on the music?

well, im one of those guys who likes music :P i liked the score on KSP2, the different themes when you get to other planets is very nice and adds that touch of variety, and also i appreciate the fact that each theme seems tailored to the myths associated with their real life counterparts (e.g, duna feels eerily war like being mars the god of war). absolutely hats off to this

on the other hand the tune on KSP2's VAB just doesnt have that 'thinkery' vibe that the original had. it wasnt even a tune, it was more like instruments chiming in and massaging your noodle.

and i have the same feeling about the theme that kicks in once you reach the space. in KSP1 the first time i exited the atmosphere and the music came in, man oh man.... eargasms... its incredible how a melody can heighten a feeling. and well, that effect its just not as good in ksp2. its a great tune, but doesnt have the same WOW factor in my ears

however, the transition to space seems handled very differently in KSP2, and it very good in its own way.

the music in the launchpad and launch stage is great tho, the fact that it modulates itself as you go along the ascension, gravity turn and all the process... from being pounding at launch to getting lighter and lighter as you reach the upper layers of atmosphere and just fades into the orbital set of tunes is something that cant go without being praised. but my rose tinted glasses force me to slightly favor the original way

anyway, all this is just opinions. theres no better or worse, its just personal tastes. lets leave EA and whatever bugs outside and speak about music
