Gimbal authority?
Is it just me or can you fly a rockets like a plane in KSP 2? The gimbaled engine steer the rockets as if they are a plane, like no control surfaces needed.

Could this be because there is no heating yet or some bug in the aero?
I can not remember it that easy to steer in KSP 1, large rockets without reaction wheels where very sluggish.

I have been using small engines that gimbal for this purpose. I still need control surfaces and wings tho. What engines are you using? Perhaps just a really high TWR is making it seem so?

The tutorial rocket.
This Scott dude has it on video (with time stamp) https://youtu.be/GWcx8AiV2CM?t=307

All i am saying is that i can not remember this in KSP, it does look like the physics are waaay off or it just the heating that is missing.

Eh, I've been able to do it in KSP with engines that have a large gimbal range. I often lock my gimbal because I don't want it doing this in the atmosphere though. You can do cool things with vectored engines tho.
