Are there subassemblies?
Building away and trying to save a lander as a sub-assembly, is that in ksp 2 yet?

Edit: Was wondering if there was something in settings I had to tick to turn them on, I know in ksp 1 you had to have advanced building setting (Something along those lines) on to get them.

NM, I figured it out. You now just save things and you can click "Merge" when you go to load and load them in. They dont go on the parts screen like in ksp 1. Dont know if I like this as I used to save crap tons of sub assemblies. This is going to turn into a mess in the save system.

yes, you can merge any craft into any craft. the tutorial will explain everything.

It explains how to do this in the tutorial in case I'm not doing it well, but you can save any build, and then whilst building load that build and choose "Merge" to bring it into your current build.

So there is no sub-assembly section, but you can get the same effect.

No, they use workspaces now, you simply load 2 crafts at once (i still want subassemblies though)

Yea IMO if it's all about loading save files into the workspace, they should give you the ability to create your own folder structure for the crafts so I can have /stations, /landers, /Lifters, etc.
