SAS and Time Warp
Hello everyone,

I am new here and never played KSP 1, so in my case, i have a lot of fun right now on the game. Please don't judge, thanks in advance.

I have a question : After many fails i found out that SAS doesn't work during time warp.

Is it a bug ?

Also : i don't find the link to report bugs. Anyone know where is it ?

Thanks

It worked that way in the original too. When you entered time warp, the craft would have SAS and all physics effects disabled (the same state as if you were tracking the craft through the tracking station). Physics and everything else would only start up again when you went back into real time.

You report bugs in the private division launcher (that opens when you start ksp). its on the bottom right, a little message icon

this is false
physics time warp does exist up to 4x

this is false
physics time warp did exist up to 4x
Then please, instead of just stating "this is false", please provide a full answer.
It is very unhelpful just saying the equivalent of "you are wrong".

Thanks a lot for all this answers !

It seems i should be more patient and using less the time warp.

because you are wrong.
in the original KSP physics time warp existed up to 4x. this allowed you to do everything you can in normal speed, just faster and with more kraken.

In other words, you stated that my entire answer was incorrect, which it isn't by the way, due to the fact that I didn't want to complicate the answer by not mentioning something that was irrelevant to KSP 2. Understood.
I will be sure to use "on rails time warp" from now on.

in additional words, since ksp 2 also has the same time warp system. where up to 4x you can warp while using sas, throttle, burn, etc

This is incorrect. Out of atmosphere time warp is always on rails.
After messing about, it seems that physics time warp will only activate in atmosphere, which is why I didn't know about it. So it is not the same system as KSP.

As far as ik sas is working horribly for me too but I think it could be a bug

You can use this to your advantage. If the craft is spinning out of control just hit , and . and its stable again.

You can use physics warp outside of the atmosphere by holding down the modifier key while activating time warp. At least for the that would be the ALT key.
