Missing Kerbonauts

When i recover a vessel, the Kerbonaut is missing on the Kerbonaut-list. Do i something wrong or is it a bug?

Did you have the kerbal outside of the craft when you recovered it? Also if you have something under construction in the VAB check the kerbal menu in the bottom right, your missing kerbal might be prepped to go on the next flight. Otherwise it's probably a bug.

No, i have them inside the craft and they won`t appear in the kerbal menu

I recovered a vessel from the *launch pad* and all four kerbonauts vanished. Clearly a bug.

Yeah it's a bug! I had the Mun disappear on me completely when I attempted to land on it! Resorting to an older save solved the issue and I went on to land without further incident! I also has a Kerbal vanish from the command pod and once again had to resort to an older save to fix it!

Yes it is a bug, what happens is kerbals auto regenerate in the vab but it only shows 10 at a time, so the kerbals vanish, if you do the same to enough kerbals you can get them back

I sent Jeb and Val on different missions only to realize later they were not available anymore in Kerbals list! 😢

Holy crap, the Mun disappearing bug is from builds of KSP 0.1X when ksp was in its first year or so.
