I have a 1080 like you except I'm in 1080p and have a 12700k.
From what I see it's not great....
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
64 GB RAM 3600Mhz
3840 × 2160 ( 4K )
in Game settings:
4K
All MAX
On Launch Pad 45-60
In Space 60
Building Ships over 90
GTX1080ti (11GB Vram)
R9-3950x (OC@4.6Ghz)
32GB DDR4 3600 Ram
1080P@60Hz (yes still need to buy a new screen, its seriously my PC's bottleneck LOL)
All High Settings 1980x1080
Launchpad 25-30 FPS
Space - 45-55
VAB -60 FPS (Vsync Locked)
1080p and a gtx 1080, paired with a 12700k, you should be fine for low to medium graphics settings avg about 30fps i would say
Ryzen 1600AF (2600 rebranded)
16Gb ram
1080p
10ish part rocket to get to orbit with lowest graphic settings: 5-6 fps
Should be WAY better then that even for that card given how bad the graphics are on low. I get much better graphics and fps in other games with high settings on the same system.
RTX3090
4k
launchpad with just one part, 40fps
runway with twin engine jet, 25fps
VAB ~90fps
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
3 screens with 1080p
In game: borderless window 1080p
all minimum
laggy AF (tons of lag spikes)
space around 20 fps
ground around 15 fps
VAB is smooth, tho. (70 fps, but with lag spikes)
part loading is also slow AF (catalog in VAB)
I'm really disappointed to hear that...
I hope they will quickly optimize this mess !
* 32 GB (2 x 16 GB), DDR 5, 4800 MHz

* 3440x1440 WQHD monitor
20 FPS at launch 😢
Cooling: Corsair Hydro Series H100i Pro
Board: MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Plus
Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super (8GB GDDR6)
Ram: Corsair DDR4 3000 32GB
HDD: 500GB Samsung SSD 970 Evo Plus
3440x1440 resolution, max details, 20-30 fps, frame drops only while entering or exiting time warp
GTX 1070Ti -> RTX 3060
Ryzen 5 2500X -> Ryzen 5 5900X
16GB RAM -> 32GB RAM
0.5TB mSATA SSD -> 1TB m.2 SSD
MSI B?? Thunderhawk PCI3 -> MSI B550 Thuderhawk with PCI4.
Umm. no idea what my FPS is but its smooth either way.
30-40 at launch, 70+ in space. Haven't been to another planet yet.
VAB is 70 fps
Also this is all at 1440p..
I feel like with every game we go through this. Everyone is unhappy at launch, the devs optimize, and then its the best game anyone has ever played.
ALSO. you gotta realize that its a sim of rockets....there aren't a lot of moving parts for your eyes to notice "oh gee wiz low FPS aw shucks" nah it looks fine. Give them some time to fix it they look like they want to do right by the first game.
Asus Tuf 3060ti
