Stock rocket not decoupling from second stage!
Anyone else having the second stage of the stock minimus/mun rocket not detach after decoupling via the space bar and stock staging configuration?

The boosters came off fine and when I hit “space” to engage the second stage the engine fairings came off and the upper stage engine fired but the lower stage stayed attached…

its seems the decouplers dont work...

Sorry for not being clear, staging is as ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up as everything else in this game i.e. barely functional.

I had that happen to me on the one time i flew a rocket in ksp2. Stage 1 stayed on, stage 2 ignited and then plop.

OMG... I'm glad it's not just me. I was like what the HECK.

That and I don't like the Pixelated UI... I like a clean crisp instrument panel.

I think the UI retro look is a complete accident due to overall AA bugs

You'd think one of the stock rockets would be able to detach its launcher but it's dragging it along. A bit of testing the supplied rockets all work would've helped.

Yes, the UI doesn't like AA either, but disabling it doesn't make it look right either.

Yes much prefer the KSP1 Crisp sharp UI to the horrible pixelated dos looking version we have now!

Can add that not only stock rockets don't decouple always but the self made ones too. Happened to me even thought that was in space and I even tried to spin a lot to decouple the part

ok i was wondering why second stage linear decoupling wasnt working. Makes sense now.

My boosters decoupled. My Stage 1 decoupled, by Stage 2 did not.
