Ahhhh how do i make a fairing

I don't see it in the game.

Click on fairing and 2 arrows should appear to the left of fairing, pull on them to make fairing, if the fairing won't go any further then look for small +/- signs near fairing to add more.

it took forever for the little +/- to show up and now it wont let me finish the fairing, the + button only appears when i move it around. ♥♥♥♥♥ mechanics lol

And if you move the fairing, you have to completely redo it. That used to be better.

This is my issue fairing looks good but can't close it just get this error.

i just ended up using the other carge fairing things cuz i COULD NOT get it to work. fun game tho lol.

agreed, fairing was much smoother and easier to use in the original, also you could close it.

It DOES close... if you drag it way up, and then cone it at the top... it takes fiddling and whatnot... I can only presume they'll be addressing it at some point.

I've found the fairing has to be a fair bit bigger than the actual payload it's encompassing. So if the payload is like a medium size object, the fairing can't be medium, it has to be large, unfortunately. Guessing this is a bug that they'll have to look at.

Its slightly complicated. Heres how you build fairings. First you mouse over the fairing part, maybe right click it too. An icon should appear over the fairing. Click that Icon and some arrows will appear next to the fairing. Pull the arrow pointing horizontally just a little bit to build the base of the fairing out a little bit so it dosnt collide with itself. Then hit the + button that appears. This will lock in what you just built and allow you to build the next 'stage' of the fairing. Now pull the up arrow and left arrows to shape your fairing, pressing the + button each time you want to change the shape of the fairing or continue extending it taller once you reach max length for a section. When you reach the top of the rocket bring the fairing together and press the button to complete your fairing.
