Try to edit the PhysicsSettings.json - file!

It's located in

X:\users\(username)\AppData\LocalLow\Intercept Games\KSP2\Global\

Search for "JOINT_RIGIDITY" an increase the standard-value (1,500.0) to 15,000.0 or 150,000.0

Try the value that fits best for you.

Have fun!

You know, I never used autostrut. Right next to autostrut there was "rigid attachment", which at least had the gameplay tradeoff of making the ship more fragile, especially when parachutes popped. Rigid attachment should have been the default in KSP2.

It's just baffling that the devs thought noodle rockets are OK. But then, I have yet to see any evidence that the devs ever played this game. I sure as Hell couldn't sleep on some of these bugs, had I found them in my code!

If you need evidence that the devs ever played the game, then go to the ksp 2 main page on the steam shop and watch the livestream that is going on right now where - you guessed it - devs play the game.

The game is fun enough. But i think the devs used a pre release version of ksp 1 as source code, since most of the bugs i encounter are the same as i encountered in that source code.
But hey KSP 1 worked out okay enough, and the goals set for this one are higher and i have good hopes they will figure it out.

All the gameplay footage was saw pre-release must have been fake, so that's probably fake too.
