Yes, definietly something more challenging and rewarding. Sounding rockets and kerbal (human) garde rockets have huge differences IRL, and all KSP games negate these differences. I thought about something betwen the KSP1 RO mod and the original KSP. You should have to start with literal carborard tubes and rocket candy and work your way up to nuclear interstellar engines...yes it's more challenging but also extremely more rewarding.
What kind of gameplay would there be with sounding rockets? And how long would it go on for? After you do that once it's like the same thing over and over.
You mean a bit like that Next Space Rebels where you start with a plastic bottle and stuff?
I don't really see how that could fit in the KSP space center theme but I would be interested to see what you had in mind.
