I zoomed in all the way, zoomed in halfway. Took pictures from behind, in front, standing close or far away, and standing on the roof of a car. I took pictured of the robot with the flamer, with the robot almost destroyed. With the robot walking and standing.
No dice.
Meanwhile, I looked up and snapped a picture: perfect picture of an areal that was passing through, wtf.
Two T-808 with flamers are patrolling in circles there. On approach, I hid behind some rubble, jumped out with zoom 2 active and got the shot.
Things that factor into a perfect shot:
- from the front
- close enough (zoom helps, but physical distance seems more important)
- nothing obscured
Also (from attempting to snapshot a silverfish), the HUD text printing terminator model name, health etc. must at least have started appearing. A perfect but hasty shot may not count at all because the camera target wasn't noticed by the HUD yet.
What I did to get the photo is destroying one of them and then just get in front of the other terminator, maybe 2 meters away until 'Perfect' appears. You have to be quick because it quickly changes to another state. I wasted quite a few medkits in other areas as well to try to get the damn perfect photo.
Jacob, i'm sitting in the same spot you described, but weh T-808 shows up, the picture quality is still just "good". How did you managed to get it to Perfect?
