Terminator: Resistance

Terminator: Resistance

An important change is needed, if this game ever gets remastered.
If this game ever gets remastered, I REALLY do hope that the studio MERGES the two main campaigns, so that it all plays chronologically, AND, that the weapons that the DLC introduces are also part of the main campaign.

It's disgraceful that the laser-pistol from T1 and the M79 Thumper from T2 are only in the DLC campaign and not the main one.

Overall, I LOVE the game, and while I do understand why they made zero references to T3 and beyond, I still think that they should have connected Terminator Salvation to the game. And hired Michael Biehn to voice older Kyle.

Particularly the the T-650, with the rubber face that Reese told us about in T1?
No, just T-800's and the T-1000. According to the wiki, the T-600 was obsolete in the original timeline by the time that Terminator: Resistance takes place. That's why we only see it in the Annihilation Line DLC.

Well my point is that DLC has us actually encounter a number of T-600s, some of whom have the rubber faces.

Did you not notice that they look EXACTLY like the T-600s from Salvation?

I wouldn't change a single thing. This game like the first two movies are completely perfect. EXCEPT, yes I do admit that they made Kyle Reese look just like Jefferson D'Arcy in married with children. To the point where it had to be an inside joke.

What do you mean? What's the joke?

Not based on the screenshots the wiki has. The Salvation T-600's have a smaller chestplate, and it looks more robotic. The original timeline's T-600 have a bigger chestplate, and it looks more like genuine armor. The legs also look different between the different timelines; the original timeline legs look like something that's definitely robotic, while the Salvation timeline legs have an actual ball-and-socket joint at the waist.

"The original timeline's T-600"

You mean the one in the DLC of TR?

You do know this game takes place after Judgement Day and the movies take place before Judgement Day, right?

They are from the comics that came out before Salvation. Salvation was based on them much later.

In married with children Jefferson D'Arcy was actually a spy and had been everywhere and in everything including happydays and the love boat, so he would turn up in terminator lol.
I disagree I wouldn't change anything, this game is just fine the way it is.

Merging the DLC with the vanilla so that it's all one chronological campaign isn't a bad thing.

There are T-850s in this Game, isnt this a Referance to T3?

I agree with you, it would be a better Experience when there merge the DLC in the Campaign but there need to Rebalance the XP gain than.

No need. It would be nice to play some missions with XP maxxed out instead of the usual stupid thing of not having access to the best until literally the VERY END.

Theoretically. However, all skinjobs in the game are T-850s and it's implied a T-800 with a flesh covering hadn't ever been encountered at all... only for a T-800 Model 102 to show up in Infiltration Mode. Also, the 820 and 825 appear to be only moderate enhancements, so it could be a very different machine under the skin.

Hey, wasn't the designation 'Model 101' also introduced/retconned in T3?
