Annihilation Line DLC Question (I hope the devs will answer this)
Watching the trailer for the upcoming DLC has me stoked like a lot of people, additionally it has raised a question I hope to have answered about it, provided the Devs can chime in:

As in the description listed on the youtube trailer: "ANNIHILATION LINE picks up mid-way through the main campaign story" Does this mean if we start up a brand new save game that it will be integrated into the main story/game?
if so that would be killer and warrant another full play-through for me on principle alone.

Seconded. And if not, which levels does it take place between?

I assume (!) it would take place shortly before the appearance of mass produced T-850s (not counting the first one you encounter for obvious reasons) and ending during the final battle. I also assume you'll be playing someone else, at least as far as I know it hasn't been stated you'll be playing Jacob (again) for the DLC, which makes sense, since he never met and / or mentioned Reese which ought to have happened to give context and weight story-wise. Plus sandwiching the DLC somewhere between the main story missions would only kill the main story's pacing and mess up player progression.
IMHO the DLC will be a seperate campaign, just like the Infiltrator DLC.

I think someone asked this on Reef's youtube channel. The DLC mission takes place immediately after the T-850 boss fight in Hunting Grounds, and is not integrated into the main campaign.

"To find answers, Rivers and a small team of Resistance soldiers led by Connor’s right-hand man Kyle Reese, must head into the most dangerous territory imaginable...the land beyond the Annihilation Line".

In the main campaign theres a 2 week gap that it fast forwards to. Im 100% sure thats when it takes place

I'm guessing it won't be cross-connected to the main game if replaying it, where you could opt to play the new DLC from the main game at a certain point during the campaign, but it's possible there would be a new cinematic that it will explain the timeline.

Since they mentioned it takes place mid-way through the original campaign's story, it would be kind of cool to see, or hear sounds of a battle in the distance while playing through the campaign at a certain point, just knowing it's a part of this DLC's story taking place, while revealing the exact timeline.

This was answered under the trailer. You dont need to have the story finished. Tho there are spoilers to the main game. To avoid them the reef studio answered that you SHOULD play the main game until u finish a mission called "Hunting season" to avoid all spoilers that might be mentioned. You play as Rivers under the command of Kyle Reese, aka Connors right hand. (Not THAT right hand u wanker) I hope that answered your question.

EDIT: The hunting season is the mission where you are sent to investigate the signals of soldiers that were sent to a terminator controlled teritory by the infiltrator model. In order to get the whole quest done you have to successfully scrap the infiltrator model. After the cutscene of zoomed in terminator inside the hideout you may start the dlc without getting any spoilers.
