If that figure isn't your monitors native resolution then you can only set a different rez by playing the game windowed, so it sounds like you might no be playing at the Native rez of your monitor.
Ianh, so you say you are running 4096 fullscreen on native 3840 monitor? My experience is not very good when I run games at 4096. Dont think its a power issue but a resolution issue.
Same as you, I notice now that on default settings my res is displayed in menu as 4096 (16:10).
However this isn't an issue for me as I prefer the fullscreen tweak, I assume that's the one you meant, which probably isn't what you're looking for. Worth mentioning that while it adjusts the res of the entire game (as opposed to Resolution Scaling), the menu will still display "4096".
