what is the true ending of the game? (spoilers)

I think from the point of view of the T1 and T2 films, the true ending is when the main character gives the t850 chip to JK, makes friends leave the hideout (saves their lives) , does not kill the doctor and agrees to jump into the past. it is the jump that creates the time loop that the Reese had and t800 in the first part.
what do you think?

I like to think the canon Rivers failed to save his party in the previous timeline and he's seeking to fix his mistakes by aiding the current rivers with the character side-quests (the dog, the boombox etc).
