Terminator: Resistance

Terminator: Resistance

Laser Tripwires: HTF are you supposed to be able to use them?
I can find no instructions in the game on how to deploy these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ things, there's no manual, and no tutorial. I can't find any relevant information on the internet, either. You can SEE the item in inventory, and even place it on the weapon wheel...but, there's no indication whatsoever regarding how to DEPLOY the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ things. There are zero references in key bindings, so no fecking clue there.

Sticky bombs are similar, equip it and then stand within a couple feet of a wall and I think right click to throw it at the wall.

Thanks! Just before you answered, I discovered that hitting a numerical slot key or rolling weapon select on the mouse actually put it in my hands. After that, it was a snap. See, I'd just found a T-800, and I wanted the plasma rifle he was carrying. Now I gots it!

I stick with the issue gun because of the sights. Also make sure you upgrade the guns with chips.

I haven't noticed any advantage of the M-16's sights over that of the R95 plasma riffle; neither has a scope, and appear to have only primitive iron-sights. I reserve the R95 for heavy enemy engagement when cover is more scarce, but when plenty of cover is handy, the M-16 and the Uzi work pretty effectively with shoot-and-cover (wash, rinse, repeat) strategy.

I have got a BUTTLOAD of chips, having taken every opportunity to kill and scavenge, but haven't made it to a crafting bench yet, so right now the plasma rifle overheats very quickly.

You will get given a resistance plasma rifle fairly soon and soon after be able to upgrade the plasma rifles with chips.

Oh, so the Upgrade capability becomes available after someone in the Resistance gives you a plasma weapon? So, getting the rifle before then—like I did—is gravy. I guess it won't be too much longer then. Probably sometime during my mission (or after) with that raven-haired and brown-eyed cutie...Jennifer? Jen? Jenny?
