Tried JFO on my desktop league with i7-9700K and RTX2070 Super, 4K epic is no go. 2K epic no problem at all. Have to admit that not many GPU is able to push a smooth frame rate at 4K epic setting at the moment.
You might want to try Control at 4K with Ray tracing at high. Your RTX2080ti will have a very tough time pushing a playable fps at all.
Another example is Metro Exodus. The game is designed with future hardware in mind.
By the way, Gear 5 is highly optimized game. Even Gear 4 i have not an issue with it on 1080p ultra. Finished Gear 5 on my laptop, will try again on my desktop league with 4K.
This game seems not very demanding, would like to know which hardware the op is using.
