Is the game open world

is it gonna be open world or is it missions with kinda big maps to look for things to trade and craft like it says

I think it will be more linear FPS. After all devs made Rambo:THe Video Game, so yeah I will dont expect to much.

My guess is probably not, maybe Metro Exodus style of linearity of get from point A to point B with some side-mission stuff to do in-between.

I expect it to be an on the rails shooter, same as Rambo. I Hope not, but either way it's terminator so I will buy it all the same.

Far too short of a clip to argue much of anything about game play there IMHO. Certainly does not prove open world though anymore than it does on the rails.

Yeah doesn't prove the open world. but the rails.. come on rail games are always looking one way where thing pop out and you shoot them then it moves not moving and shooting. like just the movement shows it isn't an on rails game

The reason people assume it will be on the rails is Reef did a RAMBO game that is an FPS and on the rails. So we are just assuming the worst to avoid being butthurt about it if it is on the rails. Dangerous to set the expectation bar high, it's longer distance to fall down onto you butt from ;)

I like the homage they did to Future Shock/Skynet by having the Uzi in it. I just hope that down the line at some point someone does a similar remaster like FS or skynet and uses the farcry type setting. I think it would do a terminator game well and suit it perfectly.

I'm fine with with a mixture of linear and open world. Linear sections makes it feel like your're living out a movie, but having open world in other sections will make it feel like a real living world.
