Why not Legend of Grimrock 3?
Why not Legend of Grimrock 3? I understand that this puzzle game, chess game is fun for many - but we all are wating for ultra-best LoG game.

By meaning chess i meant it. Deterministic combat just makes you find best way by trail-and-error and then 100% of time you will win just blindly following.
No way this would be possible in LoG2 for example.

I'm glad they made this.
This type of game is more my jam, LoG is not really my cup of tea.

So to answer your question, they made this instead, just for me :)

Thanks Devs !
:D :D :D

Also since when are Ctrl Alt Ninja and Almost Human Games the same thing ?

Oh really, had no idea, so did like some people leave the original company and start their own studio or something ?

No comment from devs? Should we expect new Grimrock or new chess game?

they said they changed the name so they won't feel the pressure with Grimrock *ahm*..

you can read all about it here

I actually find this game quite good imo :)

hope you get an answer eventually OP! ^^

Ahh I see, cheers for the link Joe.

@OP, maybe they just wanted a change. Like to try their hand at a different type of game maybe. You rarely see small studios make three consecutive games in the same franchise, unless they were intended as part of an episodic arc, or are forced to do so by corporate money machines.

But LoG has a good sized fan base. I'm sure they will most likely consider a third game at some point. Well that is unless the curse of 3 gets in the way hehe :)

The devs explain it pretty clearly on their website and in different interviews (PC gamer for example). They needed a change of pace. Google it.

Yo. again. taste is personal.

what i hated (literally) about grimrocks are the friggin puzzles and finding chests and nonsense. maybe some people like it. it was imperative to become strong, i just wanted good gameplay.

still liked grimrock a lot.

this is very good gamplay with story. funny. fancy.

I really like Druidstone - AND I really like Grimrock. I would have loved a sequel, but I'm cool with them testing other stuff. Still hoping for a sequel though, can't be denied.

I've nearly completed Druidstone and put in about 20 hours. I checked Grimrock 2 and I put in 80 hours on two playthroughs. Funnily enough, I'd say I enjoyed Grimrock 2 about 4x as much as Druidstone. :-)

Don't get me wrong, Druidstone was a fun little game... but I love games like the old classic Dungeon Master and Grimrock 2 was fantastic!

Because can expand market, broaden horizon, make more profit, maybe, potentially then.

Possibly come back to finish Grimrock 3 as DK are a niche.

I'm going back through Grimrock since I haven't played it since release. Feels like a brand new dungeon crawl. Needed that.
