This type of game is more my jam, LoG is not really my cup of tea.
So to answer your question, they made this instead, just for me :)
Thanks Devs !
:D :D :D
Also since when are Ctrl Alt Ninja and Almost Human Games the same thing ?
Oh really, had no idea, so did like some people leave the original company and start their own studio or something ?
they said they changed the name so they won't feel the pressure with Grimrock *ahm*..
you can read all about it here

I actually find this game quite good imo :)
hope you get an answer eventually OP! ^^
@OP, maybe they just wanted a change. Like to try their hand at a different type of game maybe. You rarely see small studios make three consecutive games in the same franchise, unless they were intended as part of an episodic arc, or are forced to do so by corporate money machines.
But LoG has a good sized fan base. I'm sure they will most likely consider a third game at some point. Well that is unless the curse of 3 gets in the way hehe :)
what i hated (literally) about grimrocks are the friggin puzzles and finding chests and nonsense. maybe some people like it. it was imperative to become strong, i just wanted good gameplay.
still liked grimrock a lot.
this is very good gamplay with story. funny. fancy.
Don't get me wrong, Druidstone was a fun little game... but I love games like the old classic Dungeon Master and Grimrock 2 was fantastic!
Possibly come back to finish Grimrock 3 as DK are a niche.
I'm going back through Grimrock since I haven't played it since release. Feels like a brand new dungeon crawl. Needed that.
same. need druidstone 2?
Yuuup !
seeing the big success of baldur's gate 3. i hope indie devs will learn a thing or two!
