Meh. A lot of good games such as Ori and the Blind Forest, Shadowrun: Hong Kong and Cities: Skylines are made with Unity. It's just that ironically, the big commercial ones which license the engine don't have the obligation of showing the Unity logo, so you only see it on cheap, generally bad games.

yeah, even blizzards hearthstone (i dont like the game, but it seems to be popular and i'd wager it runs and is optimized well) is made with unity. unity is completely fine if the developers just know how to use it well. some obviously dont.

Hearthstone and several other good quality games have Unity as their foundation. It doesn't reveal the low level code power to you as standard. That's why Unity alongside C++ or similar is the way the better games are developed. Pretty sure Hearthstone is unity and C combined.
Unity alone is lacking in some areas.

It's simply about good to bad ratio. And by bad I mean cases when the game is good but unity shows itself and the game would be better with something else.

at least hearthstone page in wikipedia doesnt mention anything about C, only unity. it even lists hearthstone under games made with unity.
