Changed Name

I'm back from a slightly extended break from this game, I've loosely kept up with updates along the way (lowkey was waiting for a new map) and decided tonight I'd climb back aboard the Alithea. Things are looking and sounding slick, I was getting pretty excited to play, then I noticed my username had changed on me to reflect my Steam Username. I selected this Username years ago and frankly, don't like it. I would change it on Steam if I could, it's my 'real' name, so it feels strange hearing it from strangers online and can be tricky for some people to understand how to pronounce.
Anyway, I clicked around a while in the game to see about changing it back to what i had originally selected for FCT but couldn't find anywhere to do so. It's not the end of the world, and I understand why the devs removed the option to repeatedly change your username, but surely one change per month/quarter/year would be nice for players like me, that picked out a much easier name for others to use in game different from their Steam username, and others, who like to change their names with their friends to fit a theme, or even just keep it fresh every so often.

Your Steam Player Name can be changed at any time, just go to your profile and hit Edit Profile, it's literally the first thing in the list under General, Profile Name. That changes anything other players can see.

The only thing you can't change is your Steam Account name, which is what you log in with and isn't visible to anyone but you (and Steam support)

Wow, I'm sorry I had no idea, I remembered googling about it a couple months ago due to my discord name/steam name being different and it causing some hiccups, and i thought i had read that you cannot change your name, clearly i was mistaken! Thank you!
However, that change doesn't seem to be reflected in First Class Trouble, it still shows my old username

I have no idea how it interacts with First Class Trouble, I just know you can change your Steam Player name.

I can tell you that in the vast majority of games it will also change your in-game viewed name as well, this one might have some other lock in place to prevent name abuse, but I don't know.

Hello! There can be a bit of a delay when changing your Steam name for it to be displayed as the new name in First Class Trouble. Let us know after fully closing & reopening the game if you are still seeing the previous name.

Well patience is a virtue and clearly I have none! I booted the game up once just a couple minutes after changing it on Steam and it hadn't changed yet, however I just checked and it looks like it has successfully been changed! I appreciate everyones help here, It was nice being proven wrong and is a nice small win in an otherwise tough week. Thanks again everyone! Take care, catch ya on Alithea!
