I tried complex drawings and I got sometimes A or B.

From about 15-20 drawings I've come to the theory that grades are picked randomly (F through A), but with a bell curve. Highest weight is even between B and C so you will get mostly those grades. A and F are fairly rare with F being the most rare grade to be given.

Again, just a theory from my limited time playing. someone could probably make a ton of drawings and track. You could also make repeat drawings of the same thing ( a string of text with the text tool in the same place every time?) and see if the grades generally match.
