Game will not launch due to Windows 10 Issue, Fix Provided in my Final Comment

I managed to get this game to start on Windows 7. Then I had to relunctantly install Windows 10. After the fact I realized my Win 7 key is gone. So now I am stuck on Win 10 Pro. The game states that I do not have .NET framework so XNA framwork will not install. I verified that the latest version of .NET is installed and although the XNA framework packed in with this game will not install, I downloaded the latest XNA framework and that did install. I then tried starting the game and I am getting the same exact message that I need to have .NET installed for XNA framwork to install. It does not recognize a recent version of both .NET and XNA. I would like to play this game that I paid for, can I be provided a solution to make this game compatible with Win 10 Pro?

Are you sure .Net framework is installed? I've heard of recent issues with installing it on Windows 10 - though most people are fine

If you type 'Turn Windows Features on or off' in the search, and go to that, '.Net framework 3.5' should have a checkbox

It shows .NET Framework 4.7.1 for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64 was successfully installed. If there are others that can confirm that Windows 10 with .NET Framework 4.7.1 successfully works with this game then I will give it a try in about two weeks when I allow all updates to install. I had to reinstall Win10 over again so that my webcam would work again, which I need for online courses. I have all of May off so I can rush through this game and then reinstall Win10 to get my webcam working if necessary, given updating every aspect of Win10 makes the game work.

I also spent over an hour googling for solutions on how to remove .NET and install an older version. I have heard 4.7.1 cuts fps in half in games like grand theft auto: multiplayer. I could not find any way of uninstalling it.

The box was not checked so that is the problem. I checked it and it was loading for over 5 minutes and I started googling and found someone else that was having an issue installing .NET framework 3.5 on top of 4.7.1 and it turns out he did not get it to work successfully even when downloading the install file which did the same thing until he fully updated win10. I hate microsoft so much, they are head-to-head with comcast IMO. You however are amazing at support. Thanks for the help.

I managed to fix the issue without installing any windows updates. All I did was download fortnite and it put through a .NET framework 3.5 installer that worked whereas the one on Microsoft's website will not.

Listen i try to fix you game it will not launch...im tired and i don't care to deeply about playing the game you got my money i left it in my steam for to long and miss the refund limit. But let me tell you this if i didn't miss the limit i would have refunded your game why the F am i having to jump through loops to get you ♥♥♥♥ running.
