General thread for non-Chinese players

Let's use this thread for help/hints/general questions for the very few non-Chinese speaking players..

- in the first village there's a quest about a black buffalo/cow. I solved the quest by sending the culprit to leave the village. Game tells me to see Uncle Wen but Uncle Wen seems to have disappeared from the game. Bug?

- there's a female corpse not far from starting village: is this quest related?

actually nope, i know its position and also meet the snake king and didn't defeated him.
Should i go for the snake king ? (i'm rank 19, strength of my weapons are around 60-70; just have low armor but all the blacksmith that i saw only do the very basic armor, i scare i have to spend lot of monney and good ores to get good armor at this moment ?)

Is it the first village snake king ? That wan cannot be tame.

If its other wild snake king, then can be tame, But I would say wait for later after you get other poision snake claw skill. It allow you to exract some poision stuff from the snake king which let you learn further skill or can you make it into poision for your weapon.

That snake king only spawn 2 of them at the map.

it isn't the one from the first village, i already did the quets and get the book for poisoning

Also I have a question for the quest "amoy stone evil"
now I have to go in a mine but someone block the entrance and ask me to reply correctly to the question so where can I find people who give the answer ? I tried to talk to miner near the mine but nothing.
Since they are bandits nearby maybe it's then that know ?

TO use animal king that you tame, You need to equip at your character screen. It the special talent equip list,

ooh that's why it spawned after that i select the new talent !

where is monkey island located ?

There is 2 island , 1 island is with little monkey running around. You cannot fight them. From there check some letter, give banana to a monkey to know of another 2nd island. That where u can get the animal gorilla to assist you. need to equip as talent.

But this 2 island does not appear on your map. I think is near north east of a village ( the village that make salt ) You need to swim north east from the village . Around that area I guess. Its is also around south of a moon-like-island ( the legend smith is there ) .

I just create a map guide for the 7 dragon ball and the monkey island. The location of the island is a rough estimation .

How rare is Cold iron? I found one piece for a blacksmith quest but I need more to reforge a weapon.

Hi, it may drop from enemy. In my case , it happened. I even didn't gp to egele setlement, where it may be.

someone in Taoshi gang told me that onle "smth(tao?) boulder" (thx google translate) is the only one to know the password but he's nowhere to be found

Also, I have the quest for the ghost of karma temple. some monks say that we should not go late at night in the mountain or we will see the ghost so I tried to search all night in the mountain near karma temple but nothing
just a weird glowy ore and a black tiger king.

I take all hint for theses two ^^

I'm pretty sure you only need to talk with beggars in first village (the ones sleeping at day), second village ( the one selling medicine) and near the bar at Dayan town to proceed with his quest. To finish it you need to raise him to level 40 tho.

The guy you need is standing in the main building of Taoshi gang. The password is shown in messages above his head.

There is a cave somewhere between the temple and the black tiger king on that mountain, the ghost is at the entrance of the cave at night.

that's what it say with the english patch (more or less), that's hella chaotic and they are question with answer that have no link with that
guess i have to switch in chinese and take picture of each text

update: finally i get the order by trying to guess with theses sentences
candied fruits; jade do na; a penny; maibasonqi; acid
sugar coated -> candied fruits
emerald -> green and precious -> jade
a bunch of penny -> a peny (since the other quantities are too many)
bite or sour -> sour -> acid

Do you use Lash's translation or original english mod? Lash's is much better, i remember doing this quest quite easily, had problem guessing only one of the answers.

They do, but i don't know how much exp they get. They certainly don't get it from quests or archievements if they are not in your party, because this exp gets somehow split between active party members.

In the Karma temple you can pick up a quest to kill a bear on a mountain to the north west.

I went there several times already, both during night and day but find only generic bandits there and non-quest related bears.

Do I need to go there on a very particular time?

bandits, I think - but drop rate low. Also, cold steel - one peace you get after event near house of Duan, gues right who win in perfomance. And near setlement of eagle hunters - there not found yet, but lore says so

darksteel - one peace you get when first appear on mount after collapse of cave

I now explove Hell difficulty ))) restarted game 4-5 times and get char I like. And will slowly get game going )))
