Re: Verse officially shutting down! [06/29/2025]

It's officially confirmed that CAPCOM will definitely shutdown the server for Re: Verse on June 29, 2025. But still, why can't CAPCOM use all the resource to remake Outbreak in the first place?!

Most of you "RE" Fans didn't even give Resistance a fair chance! So this is no surprise for RE:Verse, which may not be as well made as Resistance, but it's still genuinely fun.

why Capcom not add Anti-cheat and cross-play to Resistance and put some more effort to make game better? both games are death and im sure if they make outbreak "remake" will die as well, it is sadly but true..

Resistance had a potential to be successful MP but it failed miserably due to obnoxious balancing issue, no dedicated servers, no kernel-level anti-cheat system, less population which lead to longer queue time due to the fact vast majority of players don't want to host as Mastermind.

"Resistance had a potential" last time i tried play and i was stuck other player lag or MM cheat. i wish to back to game but some people who play forgot about game sport.

Re:verse is different game than this. Capcom never announced RE: Resistance gets closed down.

to be honest the dedicated servers are why re verse is gonna be permanently unplayable and resistance can still be played to this day

i actually bought re village specifically for re verse. i was mad hype for it. then they delayed it, made no changes watsoever, n added a battlepass to it.

i never played it.

It really isn't.

People who play this game actively to this day are godlike copers in this aspect. There is no reasoning with them.

Can't wait for this shovelware to go under, massive regret in buying RE3, but unfortunately the maintenance cost of this is very small...

They don't have enough competence anymore to remake Outbreak. They are gonna make it as a live service sh1thole with cut content, just like they did with recent remakes (2 and 3 at least)

Ok, both games were bad but i hope Resistance wont be shutting down. I only play MM (fair of course with GOOD connection lol). Sad i never got into Verse but it is still fun. Feels bad anyway. Tho i cannot give either game thumbs up for various reasons. I hope that Resistance will stay, you can still but the stuff in it so.
