Only hick-ups was when placed with bad connection to the Host, but happened only like 10% of the match-making, super fun game,
Capcom really did a huge mistake of missing on it, especially when DBD and Outlast Trials were comparatively successful. Instead they went to make that Co-op dinosaur in future thing. (still wanna try it though).
But yeah I remember when I tried this gem back years ago, was literally filled with cheaters, almost as if someone was trying to boycott it in angry way, ex-capcom employees? Hmm.
That's interesting since Exoprimal released in 2023 and they had anti-cheat (and perhaps dedicated servers, though not sure on that one).
I would legit right now play the game on PSN if it didn't cost money to play online, I hear it's way more active on console.
And it's a time-sensitive issue, noticed a lot play at around 3AM East A. etc.
Yeah probably all that, Dedicated Servers and Anti-Cheat, and Cross-Play too between consoles and PCs... SMH and nothing for Resistance
Just a question about survivability of this game if Capcom declares end of support. Does quick play matchmaking rely on a server managed by Capcom? Do custom matches rely on a server as well? Do daily and weekly missions rely on a server? Do the skills shop and cosmetics shops rely on a server? If Capcom ends support (I suppose it may be that case that there is no support already?), will we be able to play only custom matches but have no progression of purchaseable skills?
All good questions and I think it would be similar to ReVerse if that would happend, but I think Resistance is kept from the "Guillotine" mainly due Playstation being more alive etc., since it's probably on the same "budget" papers as PC version etc.
But yeah, only an official Capcom insider could tell for sure.
