Resident Evil Net Has 200,000+ Players - Steam Charts ARE WRONG!!!!
Do not trust the Steam numbers. It flat out says over 200,000 this past week since the update on RE net.

Valve has their numbers wrong since the game doesn't come up on the Steam Store.

DO NOT TRUST THE STEAM NUMBERS. Capcom is showing 200,000+ since the update.

The game GREW with the update.

You can confirm it yourself on RE net.

The actual number is about 75000 players. Total player count is people who have access to the game.

Game sold 2.5M copies and there were about 500k peak at launch for all platforms. Steam just told me there was 595 players currently ingame when I booted up the community tab to enter the forums here.

It's fine to accept that we're a dwindling playerbase, since even F13 has survived for over three years now without any real updates beyond touch up patches. It's just going to shrink over time to a small but dedicated group of players that really enjoy REsistance, and that's A-OK. Did you also know that PC is HORRIBLE for fighting games usually as it's almost always the smallest community while PS4 is the largest, and unless there's crossplay enabled like Battle for the Grid, the PC community is long dead by the time sales are ever a factor? It's the same for the most part with slasher games like this and DbD, only DbD constantly offers free weekends and sales, and has 4-5 years of content baked in with it's DLC selection.

Lying to yourself if you think this game has 200k concurrent players.

Where does it actually say that? The only thing I can find is https://gyazo.com/85b11720853c26077c80ca09cdd2c9af which seems to be people registered for re net in total? Or people that booted it up once? idk, but where does it say current players?
