What's the point in having a full 5man "party"? You cannot earn achievements in custom matches. Just play the game normally. You won't have too many issues getting achievements outside of meddling kids and whatever the one is called for having a team full of special weapons. For meddling kids you gotta pray you can an Alex who uses her ult at least 3 times without self-destroying it and for the other achievement you have to level Jan and use voice comms.

As long as the matches are online and you do the requirements, the achievements should unlock. The state of this game is currently more-less a disaster and queuing with randoms guarantees a cheater almost always. If I can cheese the achievements and shelf the game after, I will gladly do it. Loved RE3, but RE: resistance does not seem to have dedicated developers who want to balance the game properly and get rid of cheaters.

No. The game clearly states that custom matches do not unlock achievements.

Well, I didn't know that sadly, so thank for a heads up. That, however, makes no sense because some people may have friends who they only want to play with. I don't understand what the developers intend to do but the current player count speaks for itself.

Yea that's fine. Though we can do the achievments regular match making, takes a bit more time than custome matches, but whatever.

Far as i know you can´t unlock archivements on custom matches (also on my opinion i like all the games do that cause i play with so many people who has all the archivements and they are trash, get archivements it´s to mean you make something nice otherwise it dosen´t make any sense unlock it).
