Annette Builds
Running a creature build is my primary draw for playing this game so Annette has always been my jam. Playing as a zombie horde? Yes please. I think I have a pretty good build going but I'd like feedback from other Annette players.

This build is designed to pump out cheap, ♥♥♥♥♥♥-off, infectious mid-tier zombos at a never-ending pace. The goal is to play the long game, slowly depleting the victim's resources so that even if they get into area 3 with 10 minutes, you'll eventually hear those magic words: "I'm out of ammo!"

I've played around with a lot of different setups for Annette. I used to run Augmented Limbs and Razor Claws to keep the pressure up but I've since come to the conclusion that Resilient Skin is better for the long-term gameplan of depleting survivor resources, plus the extra health is great for area 3 when your horde is regenerating. It also synergizes with the two Tough Zombies.

I'd love to have an Infectious Enhancer or Regen in there but I found that with 3 shots in the deck there were too many moments where I needed creatures NOW but only had shots in my hand; not cool. Energy Booster Creatures is a dope card when you have 5+ energy but I eventually went with Discount; between that and Quickdraw I can cycle through my deck cheaply and easily as needed, and I feel like I almost never have a useless hand in a crucial situation.

It's important to spread out zombos in rooms, and also to drop a few outside of rooms you're trying to protect. This encourages the humans to waste grenades and their various abilities before they enter your monster-infested room. Stall them, drain their resources and when they are gaining ground spawn the monsters at the foot of the objective so they move out towards the humans in a wave.

The only teams that seem to make it through are teams with Jill rockets, though I've had a couple Jill-less brawler teams play well enough to embarrass me with 10 minutes on the clock. But it's rare.

Would love to see some different builds for the horde.

What are your presets like for this deck?

Mostly lickers with an odd leg-hold trap here and there. It's nice to have a buffed licker at the start in addition to a few extra zombies I can put out before humans arrive. I tend to prioritize setting up a nasty room near the start over spreading things out, especially in maps like Casino 2 and Park 2 where you can rush the survivor spawn.

If I can't do that (like in Lab 2) I just spread out tough zombies over the objectives so I have a baseline for building rooms. I guess I could do more traps but eh.

My Annette deck is almost the same, I just have a regen enhancer exchanged for your Jester.

Edit: I need tips for Daniel decks. After hitting 25 and abandoning him I feel like I lost the touch (farmed Annette gold skin and went to spencer after failing bad with Dan boy).

yeah I never found discount that great...with bioleech energy count is pretty minor cost....immortal creatures that get you energy back are worth it and feed less time cool you have 4 lickers but 3 at the beginning with presets is pretty great with boosts when they aren't easily wiped out by torches and molotovs.

Okay yes, I swapped Discount for Regen and I am ready to convert, it's pretty good. Makes it so humans have to actually finish off the zombie or it won't die. Nice! Thanks guys
