Sam is OP?

People keep saying he's OP, can someone share his strategy with me?

Have him at high rank, to unlock his abilities, then go punch crazy with his health regen. Till then he dies pretty easily, without the regen he is not that great. Spoken as someone with Sam at rank 15 or so, so has none of the good abilities.

Against creature builds his punch will indefinintly stun a creature, his low cooldown ability regens health and heals infection. So he has no need to spend money on green or blue herbs and realisically can do okay damage without a weapon at all. He is completely self sufficient against a creature builds, on top of providing an immense amount of CC.

And if you run immortal you dash punch once to stun 2-3 zombies for less than 2 seconds and after that you just sit there and drain time by tanking hits and bites. Every build has kind of some counterplay and every surv is kinda useless vs specific mm.

Even against gun builds I find that he is still more useful than other survivors. His dash can dodge turret fire quite easily with proper timing.

His melee damage in exchange for lower durability skill boosts damage by 2 it feels like.
