PS PLUS subscription needed to play Resistance?

Do I need a £50 a year subscription to PS PLUS to play Resistance? I was under the impression it's free with the game?

Any online mutiplayer on PS4, to gain access you need PS+ subscription to play online. Same thing with Xbox.

Uhh... Nothing on PS or Xbox that involves MP is truly "free to play". Anything related to online MP has always required a subscription when it comes to those services. It's only "free to play" in the sense that it does not involve another subscription within that subscription.

If you were to play FFXIV online through PS you would need to pay the sub for PS and the sub for FF.

I have a second account as well that isn't PS+. But since your PS+ account is connected to the console itself, it will affect other accounts on that current console as well. So it is required.

Buy a game PC and you dont have these stupid fees :-) also playing shooters is easier on pc as you have a mouse that is more accurate.

I have just been explained, if you are poor and have one of those home consoles, it might require a subscription. But that's how the poor stay poor I guess. Just throwing their money away like that. However, if you have a computer box instead you only have to buy the video game "Resident Evil 3" from Steam and "Resistance" is bundled with the purchase. To PLAY Resistance on a computer box using Steam you do NOT need a subscription.
