I Hear You Y U NO HEAR ME?

I've heard people talking in game so I know there is a way. How have you guy's figured it out and could you please let me in on your secrets?

Far as I am aware:
1. It is open mic during the loading screen and character selection screens when a game is starting.
2. Only survivors talk to each other during the game, while the mastermind cannot communicate with the others.

Though there's a toggle for ingame communication, I don't believe it works. I've been eager to get my hands on the Mastermind voice chat to the survivors. But sadly there's just nothing I can get to work.

i've done everything possible in game to have myself be heard. I've done everything through steam too.. no avail. not sure what to do at this point

Are you aware you need to open caht to "yes" in the game's settings?

yes, as stated above i've done all I can in game and in steam to be heard yet none of those options work.

you are probably just super quiet for some reason. A lot of players are just a distant whisper for me so I never know what they are saying.

it doesn't even register as me speaking which makes no sense as i'm using a blue yeti microphone. the thing is very sensitive.

There's also a voice filter or effect on the players that makes everyone sound like they're speaking through a radio. I'd grab a friend and try to test a few settings and see if that helps. Sometimes people's voice audio is set low and may need to be increased.

Would be worth to go into your recording devices and verify your blue yeti is set as your default recording device.

All there is right now is the broadcast option in custom games. You can't do this during random matches sadly.
