People abusing bad connection
We really need a report system. Too many masterminds abusing their bad connection just because they're host. The fact there's a timer only works in their favor. We need dedicated servers or a system that automatically kicks out the mastermind if their wifi is too bad.

Sooooooo people with bad internet connection should be locked to play as survivors ?

Is it their fault if the game is Peer to peer ?

Shouldn't it kill players that have a low connection to the host instead of kicking the host ?

You can play with a bit of lag anyway.

Is it better to completely make survivors unable to play? We couldn't even enter the first door, because it lagged out so much. So everyone had to disconnect. It didn't even register hits, and since its on a timer. That's just a free win for any mastermind that lowers their connection. So yes, they most definitely should not be allowed to ruin the fun for 4 people.

I agree with dedicated servers but a report system because you think people are "abusing" a bad connection is straight ♥♥♥♥♥♥--ed. Some people have worse connections than others and that's it, doesn't mean they are "abusing" it. I'm priviliged enough to have a nice fiber 300mb connection but I understand it's not available for everyone. Don't be that stupid, no one is abusing anything.

Its a major problem that if anyone defends is wrong. A masterminds bad connection could make it so that the hits you do to him dont do any damage because of the bad connection but he is still able to hit you without any penalty also with gunshots sometimes they hit and the connection is so bad they dont even do any damage. Its a major issue that most masterminds know about and abuse because they just spawn a few zombies behind a door that takes 15 seconds to open then controls it and destroys the 4 survivors because they cant do anything about it since its not there connection.

Again, it depends how you do it. I named other solutions too, but we couldn't even play. None of the doors registered and the zombies didn't take hits. There was nothing to do but disconnect or wait the timer out. That's not really fair, and shouldn't be a thing in an online game. Then they should be playing survivor and even that will likely result in the loss for the survivors. The title also says its for those who abuse it. You should read it before you call others retarded.

Often than not all the players have bad connections to the host. There are 4 players who can't enjoy a game because one laggy mastermind can't get a job to get better internet. What do you mean "a bit of lag"? when I shoot zombies and nothing happened and seconds later I got bit, is that playable for you?

A thing I don't understand is how people quickly leave the game as soon as there's a mesage bad connection with host, do they have a program that make them leave or what? I sometimes don't even see the message they just already left. That's after that I see someone is missing that I see there's a bad connection. these people should be banned as the host...

I am not saying a little lag isn't allowed, but this straight up did not work. You couldn't open the door and all of us were teleporting around. Yet still taking damage, until each player quit one by one. That's not an enjoyable experience. Delayed hit scans? Sure, I am fairly certain everyone can live with that. At least you can do somewhat progress.

Not all, but there are a few masterminds reliably lag switch at 3rd area when we start winning. Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. But a report system would be abused, simply quit out would be enough.

Delayed hit scans to me shouldnt really even happen. I main Samuel and when his ability is delayed when he does his dash punch it makes it so the zombie either hits you bites you or is being controlled and you take massive damage because of it. I'm pretty much forced to not do any ability or melee and just use a gun.

A program that makes people leave? No.They do not, but mastermind is the host. I am not talking about slight delay in shots or a slight teleporting. That would be silly to argue. Even leaving for unstable connection is silly, but i'm talking about the masterminds who has so bad connection you cant even move. You cant open doors, you cant interact with anything, and shots dont register. Yet you still take damage, and all you can do is disconnect or wait out the timer. That's not a fair experience. You should be able to still play. At that point I feel the match should get cancelled.

Very few people "abuse" having a bad connection because it hurts everyone, the person included. They just have a bad connection, and sometimes they're matched with someone with a region far away from their own.

This works both ways for the MM as well you know. If you're just spawning AI they'll work on their own, but the MM tries to use any turret, or possess their creatures, they miss their hits as well.

I rarelly have a laggy game so I guess it depend of my region. Like I have a laggy game once every 50 games and I never had such a door bug.

Blame the game for not having server connection not players with poor connection that want to play as host.

The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up thing is the MM's all seem to have terrible connections. I ran into the same MM three times in a row yet somehow my brother waited over 30 minutes and couldn't get into a match as MM. I swear it's like Capcom made it so only people with ♥♥♥♥ internet could be MM.

That's fair. I would never say anyone should be reported or claimed to be abusers before its known. However, if you cant progress in any shape or form. I feel the match should be cancelled or end in a draw of some sort. As far as abusers goes. You can tell when they do it, if its example for when they're starting to do poorly. Like 3rd area. That's usually the time where you can tell its abuse.
