Gad i hate Vocaloid
That stuff sounds terrible. Plus, using it creates a new problem, probably worst: those songwriters simply can't write vocal parts. It's mostly ♥♥♥♥ written like a keyboard part. And since they are working with a robot slave that will sing whatever they throw to them, there's no one to tell them "hey dudde, that's kind of terrible, let's work on it a little before publishing".

I'm all for virtual instruments to be able to write your song, but once it's finished, how hard can it be to find an actual out of job singer that will record the parts for a couple ten bucks? The world if full of talented musicians, and sadly, most of them are poor, so will take any paid job they can get.

A lot of people like vocaloid. And there is in fact effort put into tuning the sound of a vocaloid after it's "sung" a song. Vocaloids don't just magically make songs after reading off a sheet.

Let's be honest, the vocaloid in this game is literally garbage tho. Some vocaloid can be good, though I hate most of it, but this game is filled with filler vocaloid trash for songs.

I'm going to quote Sheldon Cooper and say that those people should be sterilized.

I just love how those composers seem to think like one note on any played instrument should have a matching sung syllable. Ever heard of legato, prolonged notes, all those things that make a singing voice believable? It's not a race to see how much words a singer can place per minute...
VOEZ had some really good vocaloid songs, I wish some of them got to this game

i think the songs in this game are pretty cute!
much better than whatever is in Invaxion or Tapsonic Bold imo

that's exactly what this game features...

your in the wrong place to be saying that. an Asian Rhythm game you have the unpopular opinion. also it would cost someone way more as you would need an acceptable studio for recording to make it sound acceptable and if you go to a recording studio that charges almost $200 an HOUR for recording you are most likely going to get a different sound than what you rehearsed outside of a studio and to make a room in your house a recording studio you would need a literal bank loan of like $5000 for soundproofing mics along with a separate room so background noises off your $2000 mixer wont leak into the recording. That is if you want the vocal quality to match the audio quality. Instead you can pay $400 for a Vocaloid License and if you know how to tune them properly you can make them sound real like in signal scream or confession. know your stuff instead of assuming. lastly this Isn't the 18th century where people walked around and asked if their talents could be used there for just a quick buck. This is the 21st century and people want a stable job and their talents are used for hobbies for the most part. I would know because I have done my research in EXPERIENCE in the music industry and one thing I've learned is the credit of one hating on another's production choices is made null. you learn your style and you get the people who enjoy it

Know your stuff... funny you should say that as i am myself a singer doing my own recordings and what you're saying is as wrong as stupid.

Also, as i stated before, you don't have to install your own recording studio to get vocals done. Have you heard of something pretty neat called the Internet? There are literaly thousands of singers that will do your vocals for under $100.

And, again, i can't overstate this enough, VOCALID SOUNDS LIKE GARBAGE. So yeah, if you have to pay a little more to not have garbage it's worth it. If you're really that poor, write instrumentals.

damn, as stubborn as is close-minded. Also, would love to hear some of your stuff what is your Artist name? What DAW/ Recording software do you use? Synthesizers/ MIDI instruments/ microphone? Where do you post? Is it a hobby or a Profession?

One thing, some people, not me (I in fact do instrumental), like a SPECIFIC KIND OF PRODUCTION STYLE. If you don't like it don't use it, but DON'T YOU DARE SHAME A PERSON WHO IS USING THEIR TALENTS IN A WAY THAT THEY SEE THAT THEY CAN DO IT IN. DOING THAT TELLS THEM THEY HAVE NO TALENT AND THAT THEY SHOULD GIVE UP, because unlike you NOT EVERYONE CAN PUSH PAST CRITICISM.

My whole point wasn't to change your opinion. It was to tell you that if you don't like it IGNORE IT. Wise up and see that you aren't normal in every aspect of your life everywhere you go (IRL or online). People have different opinions; accept it or fail at your life; and don't follow up with I know X,Y,Z. Just learn from mistakes. Failure to respond to this (except to make a response to my questions) would not only benefit you but also prove me wrong which would make me happy knowing that this world Isn't as close minded as I think it is.

I removed a counter argument as that probably would just incite another Ahem* salty, response. Thought I'd throw in a joke to make this a bit more light hearted, to make a potential response less aggressive.
