Combat Update - Preview Build 1.24.348
Hey everyone! Here's the long-awaited batch of fixes and improvements. Sorry for the long delays between updates for the Preview Branch, we had to prioritize fixing things for a new trailer but that's now out of the way.

Also you can now test this version on Linux as well!

MAIN INFO
  • Implemented system that dynamically adjusts game difficulty based on number of active players, which will make the game playable for single player but still fun for multiplayer
  • Updated the ammo system, rebalanced recipes and ammo item stacks
  • Fixed tons of animation issues
  • Fixed lot of multiplayer issues

FIXES
  • Fixed armor durability for T2 and T3
  • Fixed wrong texts on items and recipes
  • Fixed blurry and pixelated icons in inventory
  • Fixed many 1st person animations of weapons and tools
  • Fixed Multiplayer issue with bad animations on clients
  • Fixed minimal distance for COGs using explosives
  • Fixed T3 turret ammo recipes being visible from the start of the game
  • Fixed Zombie COGs in multi and single player
  • Fixed COGs going crazy after killed inside a respawn tube
  • Fixed issue with Mortar projectiles not exploding on ground
  • Fixed weapon projectiles flying from players head
  • Fixed issue of COGs not reacting on players gun fire

  • Fixed Turret modules not being effected by controllers (shutdown, custom)
  • Fixed COG drillships in Area 2 spawning T3 COG units
  • Fixed issue where COGs kept going towards player even when in range
  • Fixed Gatling ammo
  • Fixed issue of COG drillships not reacting on Eruption or end of mission time and staying on surface
  • Fixed not working use animations on Devices
  • Fixed issue with game stop responding on Exit
  • Fixed many Multiplayer issues with projectiles not being the same for host and client
  • Fixed issue where characters get sunk into ground
  • Fixed issue with Turrets shooting through walls
  • Fixed insane range for Sniper turret

IMPROVEMENTS
  • Added automated setting of respawn rates and number of COGs based on number of active players
  • New ammo system, amount of ammo, stacking, recipes
  • Improved COG navigation
  • Added game version into escape menu
  • Improved use of Revive tool
  • Improved mouse sensitivity
  • Added "Test build" watermark in game, under the eruption timer
  • Changed behavior of Mortar turret to shoot more directly on target
  • Adjusted visual, bullet speed on COG weapons and turrets
  • Adjusted visual, bullet speed on Player weapons
  • Adjusted lights in caves to remove super bright players in interior
  • Adjusted volume of COG sound effects
  • Improved particles on explosives
  • Optimization and polishing of weapon projectiles
  • Increased reach of drillship exterior lights, to compensate for less light in cave landing sites
  • Finalised armor suit, equip animation, destroyed armor model
  • Setting COG unit tool groups (equipped weapons) based on their tier
  • Changed production screen to show amount of items to be produced
  • Final icons for ammo and turret ammo
  • Option to set COG respawn rate in Custom game setting
  • Gatling turret has spinning barrel
