How about an arachnophobia option as some games already did in the past? Doesn't bother me personally, tbh I LOVE well made spiders in games but some people are not as fortunate with their phobias ^^
EDIT: Not demanding or pushing, just asking :)
I mean, isnt that even a very good way to face your fears, like in knowing that these spiders on your screen cant do anything to you and you just have to push a button to make them go away?
That's why they're called phobias, arachnids are a great example for it. 99.9999999% of spiders will never ever harm a human being on purpose but only in self defense and still, arachnophobia exists.
It doesn't matter if the threat is real or virtual, if your amygdala fires a fear reaction, you are scared, it doesn't matter if your amygdala has analyzed the situation or possible threat correctly, it's an automatism. It's the oldest and most primitive part of our brain and completely seperated from our being as a conscious entity.
It's the same port of the brain which cuases crocodiles waiting for prey to jump at sticks smashed on the water surface, it's pure reflex ;)
Hmm yeah ill take a note of this, thanks for the suggestion!
In that case, I will keep this game on a wish list and come back when there is a 100% working solution.
Just know that there is nothing in the game right now that looks like a spider.
