Multiplayer: How many players does Volcanoids currently support?

Forgive me if it's already stated somewhere, but I seem to have missed it. For this game's Co-op mode, does it support up to four players? Or only two players? Is the game materially different in solo vs co-op modes? And would anyone know if the game's difficulty scales well up to four players?

There's support for 4. If you need more I can tell you what to change in the save file but the game is optimized for up to 4. The gameplay is the same for solo and co-op. The difficulty might be slightly easier if you play with friends for obvious reasons. But from what I've seen it's really subjective.

Would I be right in thinking change MaxPlayers to 5 in the .sav file and that's it? Or is there anywhere else I would need to?

Hello. How do I create a server with more than 4 players? I am not finding the folder they say above.
