I have been making turnip mash for a while, and I ALWAYS get excellent quality because I only use excellent turnips and have the best mashing tun. However, I have just started making the transition to carrots, and it gives me crap quality carrot mash using the same setup? I am confused why the carrot mash I make is worthless? I would prefer to use carrots because they stack in 32 instead of 16 for inventory space...
