Flashlight battery duration

Large flashlights don't operate nearly long enough, and drain batteries too quickly. When I had a large flashlight on, I changed its battery. During the battery replacement animation (that lasts for a few seconds) it drained 2% of the new battery while I watched.

In general, batteries should last longer before replacement. Maybe add player-crafted garbage-tier batteries that operate at current rates, and make store-bought AA and D batteries last five to ten times as long?
