Elevator Tenement upgrade
The guy in Deekula A and the japanese guy in the mines can't do it, is there any other contractor that I missed or is it not possible to build it in this version?

Thank you, I presume progress carries over between updates? I'm not too keen on grinding out the tenement upgrades for hours just to end up having to start over again later

yeah all saves should be able to migrate over , i did mine this update. The devs said that it is a priority to keep saves unless there is a huge game changing update the changes the fundamentals

There is an elevator repair guy hidden on the elevator engine room on top of Tenement A.

But he can not build an elevator.
You can only rent an appartmant for him.

It is a good idea for future synergy content.
I mean having certain tenants could give bonuses other than paying rent.
Currently tenants dont really give much money.
Which could actually be a good thing.
Previously it rewarded a more passive boring playstyle.

Actually... They should totally add some recurring costs to the game...
Taxes, Utilities, as a way to nerf the tenant rent even more, but add utilities.

Like having no power in the building at the start, and having to use generators.
But once you connect electricity you have to pay for it.

Same with water, and heat.
Heat should be a necessity. You could freeze to death...

You could carry wood for tenants for money.
A very monotonous chore at the begining you can get rid of with central heating

This would give a bit more use for the wood seller guy.

Every time I tried to use an old save it says "This save is from an older version of the game and may not work properly" so I've restarted every time a new update has come out and yeah it's exhausting lol

They do work correctly. I think that's just a "cover our butt" warning. I've never restarted between updates. You should be good to go.
