Hunger, Thirst, Toilet needs higher now?
I haven't played for a while, but satisfying your needs seems to be out of control. I have no addictions but it seems like I'm always either eating, drinking, or looking for a toilet and shower.

Has the Dev's made your needs more difficult in the latest patch?

when the need first pops up it doesnt mean you are about to die if not eating drinking or peeing RIGHT NOW.
while you have your inventory open you can hover over it to see the % of these needs.

i didnt really feel any change recently.

just in theory now, lets say thirst icon pops up at 60% and you drink a little cause of that, the icon dissapears.
your thirst is now around 61 to 100% depending on what and how much you drank.
so not seeing the icon to seeing the icon is a big amount, which could maybe explain why the rates feel faster.
Do we know what % levels of hunger/thirst/toilet trigger the icon on the HUD? I usually wait until red icons, but they still seem to pop up really quick.

you can check if it first appears while hovering over them.
i am not sure which % exactly.
you could also check the custom difficulty settings if you hate the way the needs are.
or the console which could maybe let you modify the rates of most things.
I think one of my issues was that I was eating a large amount of low quality food (eg an onion has 6 nutrients). Eating probably leads to toilet, so eating less high quality food to meet the same level nutrients as a stack of low quality food would fill up the toilet meter slower.

Each time you use the toilet, it leads to dirty/smell meter, so eating better food should lead to an easier time managing all of the meters.

yeah that sounds about right.

you can also use handsoap in your inventory to get a little cleaner btw.
it can help if no free showers are avaible for a long time
Press f1 and type "player_stats get" do this in both an older version and the newest release version. If there is a difference in the increase then the answer is yes.
Also you can lower the needs rate in the difficulty options if it gets to be too much. It can be either halved, quartered, turned off completely... and I think if you like to punish yourself you can double it as well.
