while you have your inventory open you can hover over it to see the % of these needs.
i didnt really feel any change recently.
just in theory now, lets say thirst icon pops up at 60% and you drink a little cause of that, the icon dissapears.
your thirst is now around 61 to 100% depending on what and how much you drank.
so not seeing the icon to seeing the icon is a big amount, which could maybe explain why the rates feel faster.
i am not sure which % exactly.
you could also check the custom difficulty settings if you hate the way the needs are.
or the console which could maybe let you modify the rates of most things.
Each time you use the toilet, it leads to dirty/smell meter, so eating better food should lead to an easier time managing all of the meters.
you can also use handsoap in your inventory to get a little cleaner btw.
it can help if no free showers are avaible for a long time
