Getting a backpack inside a backpack

Oddly enough, there is a way to get a backpack inside another backpack.
1. Your main inventory needs to be full. As in no empty slots.
2. Need to have a backpack in your backpack slot with at least one empty slot.
3. The backpack that is about to be placed inside the other backpack must be inside a storage object (desk, dresser, chest... ect.)
4. Double click the backpack in storage to quick transfer it over. Since main inventory is full, it will send it over to the backpack. Once backpack is inside other backpack, you cannot move it. Moving it inside other backpack will not allow you to place it back into the backpack without repeating the steps above.
Is there any benefit to doing this? Not really
Also, you can place backpacks on the ground and use them to store items in, but cannot pick up unless said backpack is empty

Actually you can equip a backpack that you have placed somewhere, even with items in it, as long as you don't have one equipped. So you can have ones with different sets of gear and just swap them out. Drop the one you're equipping, pick up the other one. You just have to interact with the side of the backpack that has the straps. The other sides access it's storage.

Thanks for clarifying that. I meant picking up and putting in inventory, not equipping

The cooler bag can be found in a sack under the stairs in Tenement A.

Or u could get backpack with 40 slots,then u no need to experiment. ;)
I think it should be enough for ur needed carrying stuff

Are you talking about the bug that duplicates the number of slots in every storage space? Or is there an even larger backpack hidden somewhere

When u pass radiation zone and enter tunnel. On left side is worktable and steel cabinet. After steel cabinet crouch under stairs and go behind wall and u will find it there.
