Rent $ feels way too low and Scam invoices are too profitable.

Title, since the mine update rent has become a joke, and upgrading the tenement feels useless, for the most part. Sending scam invoices is by far the easiest money in the game right now, as jail time really doesn't matter if you get caught, and even if you pay off your fine you still walk away extremely profitable, if you do serve time, its usually about 8 hours long and your needs are taken care of (food water etc), so its not an issue at all.

TLDR:
-Scams are OP. (Fix: make Jailtime feel like a bad thing, also slightly less profitable)
-Tenement Sucks. (fix: decrease upgrade costs, or pay more per week)
-Jailtime is a non issue. (fix: add a skill decline feature while serving time/longer duration)

Steal all the books that give +5 recipes, got the scam invoice today and i already had 8 in paperwork, do note that you will get the scam crime so prepare to run from police.

Tried getting the recipe magazines but been pretty unlucky with getting that specific one

From my understanding, some recipes are rarer than others, like, magazines don't pick evenly from all eligible recipes. There's also the issue that duplicates can be selected (by intentional design choice), so the more recipes you have, the harder it is to get "at least one new one". I had to savescum reroll the same magazine about 20 times to get the invoice recipe...

I'm about 70 hours in and have basically every recipe so I saw this and spent the last hour reading OS-magazines and reloading. Eventually got it. Absolutely brutal seeing "no new recipes" for the last 2 weeks and knowing this recipe was still out there.

Counterfeiting is definitely a crime, the Obenseuer police just don't care enough or don't have the skills to detect it. I'm not particularly shocked that very illegal make-money-fast schemes actually do make money fast (just call me Neal Caffrey).

From some rough calculations, you can make around 2000-3000RM per day legitimately with a well-equipped workshop and greenhouse, but it takes effort. Counterfeiting 3200RM takes 8 hours, plus the time finding the paper. Scam invoices (at paperwork level 10) average around 5000RM per day using the supplies from O-market, so more than counterfeiting if you go to jail, less if you pay the fine.

i would rather take the slightly lower RM without having to worry about the jail

Considering the wait time for certain upgrades it doesn’t sound so bad, but I can’t help but to worry devs will forget to restock prison with food for longer sentences
