Farming...

I am doing the rooftop farming and its going REALLY well. I have hops on all the trellises and plant onions in both fields. The hops net like 3500oc a pull with over 2 stacks of seeds that can be washed and sold to the brother. The onions on the other hand hit like 2000oc maybe. But my question is... I am only planting the excellent quality onions. Does it matter with farming maxed out what quality is being planted? I'm losing 6 stacks of excellent onions every flip. Would I still get high quality from planting the good or fine quality? Thanks!!

Yeah the quality of the produce you use to replant the field doesn't matter as far as I've observed, I'm replanting carrots and while I still get a few at only good quality, most still come out as excellent.
