Stainless steel

So far only found 4 stainless steel so where is it sold or how do i craft it?

Rarely from the hardware dealer ive gotten some, rarely in loot (no where specific that i remember)

It's a rarer 'bottleneck' resource so you should grab it when you see it.

It can be found in the red chests in the mining areas quite commonly I find. This isn't the only place, clearly loot containers have a spawn list and some are more likely to have stainless steel than others (eg red two door chest vs dumpster).

Edit: I haven't found a crafting recipe for it and don't know if one exists.

That could be helpful ty. I have not spent much time there only really for the quests and since i have not seen any stainless steel above ground in over a month (in game) i will start hunting there:D

I bought some yesterday from the guy at desk outside mining shop. Only seen once though

I've found some Stainless Steel sheets in Tenement A. Most likely apartment A2 and the lantern factory.

I find cookie sheets and urns, melt them in the furnace.

Think so don't remember. I just use the bars to make watches and mechanical parts. I did look in recipes though for stainless steel and there isn't one.

There is no recipe for stainless steel found in the recipes.json file.

I would say that sucks but lucky so far in this build i am sure you only need 18 of them.
