How do I figure out item ID so I can use console commands?

How do I fire out item ID?

Use search you'd have instant answers. I've answered this a few times within last week or so.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Obenseuer\Obenseuer_Data\StreamingAssets\Items.json"

find_item name where name is the name of the item you are looking for. It will give you the ID.

If you press F1, it says to type in "Help", and it lists all the console command prompts.

I like my way. I also open recipes. I can tab out find what want then tab back in.

yeah maybe write it a third time in the same thread.
i prefer the clean console one, showing me nothing i dont search for.

btw not everyone saves his files in the same location, maybe after a third time...

I've done console commands before but to spawn items you need to know the item id which is not in the help menu 👍 so please know what you're talking about before you reply

Are you saying the "find_item" command isn't covered in the console "Help" documentation?

It's there I believe it's at the bottom after you type help. I prefer the file since you can use search.
