What are aluminium bars for?

I have a few stacks from recycling cans and I can't seem to figure out their use.

Judging by Recepies.json in \steamapps\common\Obenseuer\Obenseuer_Data\StreamingAssets, there is a recipe for creating an aluminium bar (out of aluminium cans, in a furnace), but that's the only recipe with it. So no use, other than selling, at least for now.

Oh that's too bad. They're not very valuable to sell so i think i'll keep them till next update.
