Enjoying the game but renting system balance feels bad

I have 4? renters and my daily rake is ~200 OC/20 RM. I make 15x this doing farming/crafting.

Doing an upgrade that costs 1500-2000 OC and 50-120 RM raises rent by ~1 OC/0.1 RM. Its going to take 1000+ days for an upgrade to pay for itself, not including material costs...


Tier 2+ upgrades feel completely out of reach for now and I dont see that changing unless im missing a goldmine in crafting somewhere

The way it is now is essentially, the $ you see before you rent is their Default Monthly Income, and yes, weekly means you get 1/4th of that a week, and daily... yeah, 1/28 or something a day.
The Default option is Weekly, and before, yeah that caused way too much inflation.

You could go farm Paperwork to either do Scam Invoices (Need Recipe, credit card for bank account, and Near Max Paperwork go spam mining permit paperwork to avoid tens of thousands of Crime Points, still going to suffer points, but less at max quality scam invoices), or break into Ms. Passport Maker's Bedroom to Steal legitimate printing press presses to turn 4 Paper into 99 RM at Printing Presses, no crime points from doing it weirdly enough. , Otherwise, just go sell Booze, mine and refine ores, and make valuable items to sell at One Stop Shop.

Great post, adding to this you can fill both large fields in the greenhouse with rye and all the trellis planters with hops for maybe 5k OC a day or so.
